Kayak on Gave d'Oloron Individual navigation. The kayak is narrow and fast, which enables it to be navigated precisely down the river in all levels of water. The kayak is suitable for beginners and instructions on handling are given before the start so that you can appreciate fully the journey.

At the starting point short initiation and handling instructions will be given to enable you to discover very quickly how to get the most enjoyment out of the 5km journey (approx. 1½ hours).

A guide will accompany you on the river throughout the journey.

Meet at ‘A Boste’ headquarters in the village of Sauveterre de Bearn
  • For the morning excursion at 09.30 hrs.
  • For the afternoon two departures 14.00 hrs. or 16.00 hrs.
You will need to bring swimming costume, towel and shoes suitable for use in the water.
